Giardia is a water-borne protozoa and can live in the digestive tract of humans and pets with out problem until they are under stres, then it blooms and takes over causing havoc in your dogs digestive system. and depleting the system of nutrients. This parasite is practically impossible to find and it must be caught at a specific cycle or it is not dectable in a stool test. So just because your vet says your dog does not have Giardia, does not mean the dog is free and clear from Giardia infestation. If it is not found at the exact "window" of opportunity in a 2-3 cycle, you are out of luck. Flagyll or Metronidazole are the meds usually used for Giardia but have very little effectiveness for this problem. Panacur wormer is suggested as a better option by many vets and worming for 7 days with a 2 week wait then reworm again. and again for 7 days.

This kit will last 2 months for large/giant breeds and longer for smaller pets and it really works to get them back on track Directions for Use:
Get the Panacur wormer from your vet or online, it is not included in this kit. Follow your vet's instructions. If you purchased it online make sure dosage is based on your dogs real weight, do not estimate the weight.
Before you worm, start giving the Spark of Life drops on their food and BacPacPlus probiotic on their food in AM and PM feeding for at least 1 day before you start worming with Panacur wormer. (this is not included in the Giardia Kit). Follow your vet instructions on Panacur wormer and repeat it after 14 days. If you purchase the Panacur on line, make sure the dosage is correct according to your dog's weight. Check with the company you purchased it from to be sure. Worm for 7 days and then again in 2 weeks, worm again for 7 days. Keeping them on Spark of Life and Probiotics AM and PM all the time.Then introduce eachcomponent in theGiardia Kit -after the first course of worming, spacing the introduction of each supplements 2-3 days apart. We got our puppy from the breeder with giardia. After hundreds of dollars at the vet office trying to figure out what was wrong, I discovered these products online and ordered them as a last ditch effort to help our puppy. They worked great when used in conjunction with the natural wormer sold by them too. I have had to talk to them on the phone a couple of times, because my puppy's giardia case was so severe. They were very helpful and he is finally on the road to getting better! Direahea isn't every day now anymore. Great products!!!

Since staring the supplements in this kit my dog has had no more diarrhea. He has also put on about 10 pounds which he desperately needed. We just couldn't get weight on him before this. We will use these supplements for the rest of his life.

I have a 2 1/2 year old Male Harlequin Great Dane that has had diarrhea since I brought him home at 8 weeks old. He has been on many many rounds of metronidzole, numerous foods, bland, prescription diets, etc. He had been tested numerous times for Giardia with negative results, but after reading the article on how Giardia is very hard to detect, we thought we'd give it a shot! A different vet VERY strongly suggested giving 800 miligrams of metronidzole for 10 days (we had previously only given him 200/day) on top of the panacur. To make a long story short - he is like a NEW, GREAT FEELING, NORMAL DOG!!! He did NOT feel better until I gave him ALL of your suppliments! He has totally normal poop (the most wonderful sight I've ever seen!!) and feels like a new puppy! He even had seizures for almost a year and has gone about 5 weeks now without one (he is taking medication for that, but did have break through seizures). I really feel the Giardia has something to do with them because he is an extremely sensitive dog. SO THANK YOU!! I will keep him on your suppliments always! Even the oxygen drops go in every bowl of water! I have 2 danes and now after overcoming so many days of tears and frustration - I have a HEALTHY DOG! My dog has been receiving the supplements in this kit for approximately one month now. I had spent hundreds of dollars at the vet, not to mention my time, and none of the expensive prescription medications seemed to be helping him whatsoever, and, in fact, he had many side effects from them, so I decided to discontinue them. After extensive research on the internet regarding his biopsy-proven diagnosis of IBD, I came across greatdanelady.com and found her information to be most in fitting with my dog's sysmptoms, i.e., giardiasis. As of today, he is not back to normal health; however, he has begun eating his food once again, and with that little ray of hope, I believe he will be on his way to a full recovery.
